Rev. Vanessa D. Anderson, born the third child of Rev. and Mrs. H.H. Dyer, was educated in the Atlanta Public School System. She furthered her education at Atlanta Technical College where she obtained an LPN certificate. She has previously worked in the field of home health and mental illness.

Rev. Anderson is a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel at New Macedonia Baptist church. Her ministerial gift has led her to minister in many different capacities. She has traveled throughout the United States carrying the Gospel.

Rev. Anderson holds an Associates of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education from Beulah Heights University. She currently not only serves as the First Lady of New Macedonia Baptist Church, but also as the Spiritual Advisor to the Usher Board, Deaconess, New Members and the Pastor’s Support Team.

Rev. Anderson holds membership in the local, state, and international Association of Minister’s Wives. While also being a lifetime member of the NAACP; she is also an active member of the Association of Christian Ministers of Clayton County.

Rev. Anderson not only serves as a minister., but as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; married to our Pastor, the Rev. Gerry T. Anderson; together they have served New Macedonia for over 32 years.
